I headed in town today to see if the rose garden in Deering Oaks park had gone by yet. It definitely wasn’t as lush as when I went last year, but still had a number of decent blooms left. After a walk through the garden, I took a turn around the duck pond. It was pretty quiet there, this being a week day, and I suspect the few people I did see there were a holiday spike.
