So I gave myself permission to procrastinate on picking a Sockdown sock, and then decided I really wanted to work on a sock that wasn’t a Jaywalker, so on Monday, I cast on Steffi van der Linden’s Susanna socks in some Fibre Company Canopy sport I had in my stash. And then I almost immediately frogged it when I realized I should do yarn overs where the chart said purls if I didn’t want to decrease them out of existence. Once I did that, it was smooth sailing, until my cold relapsed, and I spent two evening nearly passed out on the couch doing nothing before slinking off to bed at 9:30. Thankfully, I seem to be over that, so I should be able to get some work done on them. It’s a great pattern so far.
