I got my Malabrigo sock yarn from Webs today. (Well, yesterday, but the mailman came late, and I forgot to check.) It’s the Solis colorway, and I was expecting richer blues and greens. Still, it’s quite pretty, and I suspect I’d be perfectly happy with it if the following hadn’t happened. It came in a tiny (for yarn) envelope, and while I thought I’d smooshed it far enough down when I went to open it, I still managed to slice across about a dozen threads at one end. In the grand scheme of things, the yarn’s still perfectly usable, and I supposed I should have paid a bit more attention, but I’m still a little irritated. This is definitely going to the bottom of the stash tote so I don’t have to look at it again before my irritation fades.
