Nereid glove #1 is done! I managed one and half gifts in the month of November. Woot!
I’m definitely enjoying this pattern, but I think I’m glad I’m doing Pomatomus as a mitt rather than a sock. I’m not sure I’d like how this fabric feels on my feet. But it sure looks cool and feels fine as a mitt, even if the yarn overs in the above picture look ginormous.
The yarn definitely isn’t as varied in color as the other Raven Clan yarn I’ve worked with. I expected an iridescent feather look to this, and it’s mostly just black with a few peeks of green. I wouldn’t go so far as to say I’m disappointed, but I’d probably try another colorway before going back to this one.
