Today’s haul was: garlic, green beans, zucchini, tomatoes, cabbage, lettuce, cucumbers, a red pepper, and eggplant.
Still nothing revolutionary to report prep-wise. We’ve been going with quick and easy veggie sides.
This weekend, I managed to score the above: a five pound box of organic wild Maine blueberries. I have the last batch going through the initial quick freeze before I put them up for longer term storage, and have kept out a small amount so I can enjoy them in my breakfast cereal for as long as possible. I see many yummy blueberry possibilities in the dark depths of this winter.
