Reversible Cables Baby Hat

I love baby hats. They’re done in two seconds (well, ok, two days) flat. I’ve made this for BF’s cousin’s baby, due 12/14. So today, I cast on another hat for baby’s older brother P, since he’s just about to lose his center of attention status, and we figured he would probably appreciate a present too.

This was a really easy pattern. It does get a bit tight on the 16-inch circ right after the cable row, but does even back out after a regular row. This did mean that I switched to DPNs when I started decreasing, just to save my sanity.

I really love this yarn, which is a blue-faced Leicester yarn. It’s lovely and soft. Really nice to work with. I’m using it again for P’s hat.
