Last weekend’s trip was up to the Coastal Maine Botanical Garden. We’ve been a bit remiss this year, and it was our first trip up.
The main thing I noticed is that this is a good year for astilbe. I’ve noticed this at a couple of houses in my neighborhood, but they looked even nicer at the Garden. Any astilbe bed actually looked lush – not something I normally associate with astilbe.
It was a lovely day, the last day before the humidity really set in. Since then, I’ve been laying low in either the AC, or near a fan.
