Today’s haul was: summer squash, jalapenos, radishes, new potatoes, chiogga beets, Swiss chard, a head of lettuce, and cucumbers. I actually went out to the farm today, which was pretty funny, as I’d never been out there until this past Sunday, which was Maine Open Farm Day (BF and I both went), and now I’ve been twice in one week.
Some cooking highlights from last week were: Garlic Scape Pesto, and Roasted Garlic Lemon Broccoli, which BF, who is normally very meh about broccoli, said he’d happily eat again.
