It’s practically fall again, so it’s time for the RIP VI Reading Challenge.
This year, I’m going to do Peril the First, which is to read at least four books in the challenge categories: mystery, suspense, thriller, dark fantasy, Gothic, horror, or supernatural.
Per my usual habit of the past couple years, I’ll be seeing what I can find out of the cabinet of shame (aka the TBR mountain) in my office. I can’t wait to see what I end up reading.
I find if I make a list I don't follow it, but I made one anyway this year… Chances are I will just read what catches my fancy.
Yeah, if I make a list, I find myself wanting to read other stuff. I find I read more if I don't make a list up front.
Lists don't generally work for me either, but RIP is a whole different ballgame for me. I find that the more choices I give myself, the more successful I am, so my RIP list is huge.
