I got through Chart 1 of the Evenstar shawl over the weekend. I’d started it with size 3 DPNS, and got about 15 rows in when I messed up. Fortunately, I’d been reconsidering my needle choice anyway, so I was able to restart it with size 4’s, and I’m much happier with those. There’s enough size now, I was able to move to a circular needle.
I’m really enjoying the pattern – it’s fun to watch it grow.
