This is the Siksak hat, by Marja Suomela. It’s actually super simple, but the pattern looks pretty complex. Kinda cool. It’s simple enough I would probably normally find it boring, but I like what it’s making so much I haven’t had that issue.
The yarn is Reynolds Sea Wool and Pattern Works Breton Heathers – we’ve moved to the DK section of my great leftover toss of 2016.
