After so many small projects, I needed something more substantial. This is the Starshower Cowl by Hilary Smith Calis, done in Tess’ Designer yarns Peruvian sock. I’m loving it. It’s nice to have something bigger to make, and the construction of this is interesting – it starts flat, and is later joined into the round (I’ve been in the round for one pattern repeat at this point). The pattern repeat is interesting, and I’m really enjoying having something more substantial to work on.
Still love this yarn – the silk content makes it a joy to work with, and the color is, as always, amazing.
