Here’s the final dispensation of the Knit Picks Stroll Tweed Down Heather yarn – a Cable Baby hat, some Better than Booties socks, and a hexipuff. (This isn’t the only one – I had a few from the last time I thought I was done with this yarn.)
I still have plans for casting on a sweater, but decided to postpone that until January, in the interest of something I might actually finish before the end of the year. These are Marilinda socks, by Cookie A. I’m making them for my Aunt, from Tess’ Designer Yarns Twinkle Toes.
I’d forgotten how much I like Cookie A patterns – they’re just so interesting. This one looks really cably, but there’s only an occasional stitch that actually requires a cable needle. I’m really enjoying making these.
