Garden Notes

What a different a heat wave makes – my peas are finally blooming (and half of those are already pods now – it’s been freaking hot).     I will totally plant these again.    The flowers are so pretty, and they’ve topped out at about waist height.   Here’s hoping they taste good too!

The chamomile is also blooming.   I’m going to need to start harvesting and drying that.    If I get enough, I can do tea, or maybe at least some interesting infused jam.

  1. Make chamomile tea bread…it’s delicious and doesn’t take a lot of chamomile flowers. I’ve never seen an edible pea with such pretty blooms. What variety is it?
