The garden is coming along nicely – I have buds on two of the larger dahlias, and I found myself out in the remnants of a tropical storm hand pollinating the first female pumpkin flower because there was actually a male open, and I wanted to make sure it was pollinated. (I’ve also removed my first squash borer eggs – I’m continuing with inspections, so hopefully I’ll catch anymore.) The rain from Elsa was definitely good for things – I swear the peppers doubled in size that day.
