Trying it again – these are Joshaqan socks by Hunter Hammersen, in Koigu Painter’s Premium Palette. Which it turns out I had tried with this exact pattern and yarn last Fall when trying to make socks for my MIL. Now, I’m working on socks for the Dads, and oddly, making these for one of them (they’re the same shoe size, so I can make a game time decision before sending them off) works better for me than trying to use this yarn for my MIL. I think I’ll need to use another skein for her (I tried several patterns last Fall, and gave up when it just got too close to Christmas, and I still wasn’t feeling it.)
