This wasn’t bad for a free book. Fiona is the only daughter in a family of Irish cops in Toronto, when she finds out that her estranged grandparents in Ireland are actually druids, and she has their power.
The family is nice, but so very stereotypical for Irish/North American cops. And the part in Ireland is also pretty twee. But it was a good set up, since Fiona decides to make a go of being a druid in the city, so I’ll see what happens in at least the next book.
