Not a bad free book. This is the set up to a series set in more modern days, but leaning on Greek mythology for the characters. The author does take certain liberties with the parentage of her characters, but she talks about why at the end of this book, and I like where she’s going with things.
This book takes place mostly while the Trojan War is going on, and places Hades’ kidnapping (or is it?) of Persephone in that timeframe. It sticks pretty closely to mythological timeframes, though it does reorder certain things. I’d say avoid it if you’re stickler for detail, but if you’re trying to be a stickler for detail with Greek mythology, you might need another hobby.
