Beads: Miyuki 8/o beads – black opaque
Needles: Size 4 Circs
I started this shawl in 2021, and had to let it hibernate. Something about row 37 kicked my butt several different times. I normally like charts for lace knitting, but I had to go with the written out instructions this time. And I life lined after every chart. Which turned out to be a good thing, because I did have to rip back in the middle of chart 4.
I still very much enjoyed making this shawl, but I’m not sorry it’s done. I think my next shawl may need to be more on the blankety side, and less lacey. (Like I’ll stay away for long – I like lace knitting too much to never do it again.)
I enjoyed working with this yarn, although the company stopped production in the middle of my hibernation period. It’s a good thing I bought enough up front to finish it.
