This was a fun book – Tesla Crane is one of the richest people in the world, thanks to her family’s robotic business. She’s newly married, and she and her husband are on their honeymoon – a cruise to Mars. And then there’s a murder.
Tesla’s husband is actually a retired detective, but he’s the main suspect, so it’s up to her to prove his innocence. They had been traveling incognito, but her willingness to pay to keep her lawyer on a live line (the increasing lag in the connection time is nice to see) quickly blows their cover. The rest of the story makes sense mostly when you read it, so I’d say if you want a nice spin a murder mystery, go for it.
