We had yet another storm, on Friday, with crazy rain and wind, so today’s walk was again damp. I’m glad I have good hiking boots, but I’m starting to wonder if I need to invest in muck boots I can hike in.
They’re still just starting the clean up at Crescent Beach – the culvert is fully exposed on the path behind the creek, and the side paths are still damaged and in some cases impassable. They did have someone out weed-whacking on the main road today, so they’re at least thinking about things. I definitely wouldn’t want to be the person in charge of the clean up state wide right now.
