I’ve actually done two rounds of planting since I last checked in – all of the surviving seedlings are now in larger pots.
I need to do something about my marigold starts. I’m not having good luck in the pods. I may try those in larger flats next year, and prick them out into these larger seedling pots from there.

My lunch break yesterday was getting the dahlia tubers out of the garage and into the large pots. Since I last checked them a couple weeks ago, almost all of them had sprouted. Only one (the Winslow white) showed some signs of rot, but it was also sprouting, so I cut off the bad bits, and fingers crossed that means I got it in time. We’re projected to not have another freeze for the month, but I can cover these pots (and will be at night for at least the first week), so I may manage to pull off over wintering dahlia tubers in my unheated garage.
