Knitting Notes

Argus sweater

I really enjoyed making the Argus sweater. It had some really interesting construction details, and I enjoyed working with the yarn.

However, it didn’t really fit right. The neckline was definitely bigger than I would have liked, so I’ve ended up not wearing it. (This is the downside of not really having the extra time to learn to fully tweak patterns. I understand the basis of the math behind it, but this is my hobby away from all the math I do at work, so I really have to rely on the pattern being right for me as written.)

So I’ve frogged Argus. I had one skein and bit more leftover besides this, so I have a decent amount to work with. I do have an idea of another pattern to make with this, and it’s the kind of top down pattern I’ve had better luck with for fit in the past. (You can try top down sweaters as you knit them, which is a bonus.)
