I think planning Paris trips has become one of my hobbies. I follow a fair amount of Parisian content on Instagram, and listen to a couple of podcasts from ex-pats living in Paris. I ran into the author of this book on one of those.
The author ended up in Paris through her banking job, and after a while living there, decided she wanted a new challenge, and opened up a cooking school. Since she’s an American, so it’s not a cooking school as would be traditionally done in France, so there were challenges. Add in other events happening in Paris (the Bataclan, the gilets jaunes protests and Covid, among others), and it’s an interesting tale. Paris fan that I’ve become, I enjoyed it.
