This book picks up immediately after the events of the first book of the series (which I have read long enough ago it took me a while to get back into the swing of things).
Atticus is a 2000 year old Druid living in Phoenix. He looks in his twenties, but that facade drops pretty quickly when you get to know him. In the last book, he killed a god, which brought him into the cross hairs of a number of groups that either fear him, or want to ally with him. He’s in the middle of signing a formal agreement with the local coven when another coven comes into town, intent on killing them, and him. Throw in a few maenads and Coyote, and things get interesting.
This book is fast paced, and ton of things happen. I will not be at all surprised if this continues in the next book.
