This is admittedly a very random place to be for an out of town visitor, but our friend works here, and knew about a trail that she knew would have wildflowers. (Isn’t it grand to have friends that look out for your interests?) And it’s the perfect distance away from the airport to be a good practice drive with a brand new “wrong” side rental car. So that’s how we ended up there. (Their cafe also does a fantastic fish and chips – it was a great visit.)
