I ended up getting the Miles in Love omnibus even though I own Komarr on its own, just for the simplicity of getting Winterfair Gifts in the bargain.
I loved A Civil Campaign. I adore Ekaterin, and Miles completely floundering about like an idiot when he finally finds the woman for him was adorable. I loved Nikki in the mix as well. Heck, pretty everyone in the Vorkosigan family orbit was just great.
Having Mark also have his own love story was fun, and the backdrop of the Emperor’s marriage added to the general mayhem. Just a super fun story all around.
Winterfair Gifts was a lovely little endcap – it’s nice to see some fun for Taura, who’s a very interesting character that deserves what she’s given in this story.
