Boreas chart 5 is done. I completed this all in December – I wanted a little bit of a palate cleanser after some heavy knitting stash busting.
Holy crap was that a lot of black thread! This is why I had to buy a cone’s worth.
I love that you can actually see the hand on the figure now, which you really do need to back away a bit to see. It gets a little lost when you’re doing the close work.
I’ve only got one full chart left in this row, along with a two square end chart that I’ll probably just work with that last full chart – seems silly to keep it separate. That last chart is maybe a little bit more black, but it’s broken up enough that hopefully it won’t be that bad to do. I just made myself do some black every day, and that worked out.
