The Joys of April Weather

So we officially got ten inches in that charming April Fool’s Day storm.     We stayed inside the whole day, and the next day only shoveled out the walks.    Figured as long as we could get to the cars and the mail man could get to our door the next day, we’d be fine.

The hilarious thing about that next day was how warm it got.     We had the kitchen window open, and it seriously sounded like it was raining.     If you look at the puddling above, you might think it was not a fully sunny day.

By that Monday, the side garden was nearly completely melted.     (It’s completely melted now, and the shady portions of the front and back yards are well on their way to following suite.)

Ah, April.    It’s never boring.
