I am super impressed with the climbing rose in my garden – after the last two winters, I wasn’t convinced it was going to survive. It’s actually blooming quite nicely now – I think having to clear out all the deadwood was actually good for it.
The lilies are also doing great, especially considering they’d pretty much disappeared from the garden for a good five year stretch.
I did do a little reorg of the back yard (and my neighbor contributed some impatiens that were getting scorched on the front porch.) The beets and Swiss chard are now in the side garden. I’m still not quite sure about the kale – I’ll give it another week or so, and then I might move that too.
I’ve had to pull out the oxalis and the bleeding heart – both have given up the ghost.
