This walk will probably go down as my favorite walk of the year – it’s got a unique coastal plain pond, so I was just swimming in flowers I’d never seen before. We did joke at the end of the walk that it needs to be renamed to the Ashumet Green Briar Sanctuary – I managed a lovely cut on my leg while blundering into one. They were everywhere! But I have no regrets.
