Pattern: Evenstar Shawl by Susan Pandorf
Yarn: Anzula Cloud in the Dusty Rose colorway
Needles: Size 4 circs and DPNs
I finally got around to blocking the Evenstar Shawl.
That was fairly exciting – even my bed wasn’t quite big enough to do it completely flat. Fortunately though, because I stocked up on blocking pins, I at least had enough to properly anchor it.
I really did enjoy this pattern – it’s an absolute joy to knit. Each chart was a little more exciting, and it really felt like the time I spent making it flew by. But I did spend four months on it. It was funny when I reached the border round – I had a really hard time believing I’d gotten that far.
This yarn was also lovely. The touch of cashmere made it really nice to work with.
I would totally make this pattern again, if given a good excuse to.
Thanks!
