In casting on the Annis Shawl, since it has so many stitches, and during the lace portion I can only hack one pattern repeat a work night, I decided to find another sock yarn using up pattern to do after I was over lace for the night. I was getting a little sick of my usual sock yarn hat pattern, so found this one. I like it. It’s not super hard, but looks really nice, and is definitely more interesting than knitting in the round. I did decide to leave off the icord finish.
I hadn’t worked with this yarn in a while, and I’d forgotten how much I love it. It has a little silk in it, which makes it the most lovely yarn to work with. And I really liked the colors. I did have enough left over to make one hexipuff.
