Magic Binds – Ilona Andrews

I’ve got to get better at reading series more closely together. Since I’ve been reformatting all my old blog posts, I’ve seen how far behind I am in this series, which is really silly, because we own all the books.

This book makes no sense if you haven’t read everything that’s come before – there are so many threads that are starting to come together in Kate’s fight against her father. And man, what a fight that is – their relationship is so good. He’s so proud of her, while also trying to bring her to heel.

I do think it’s the relationships that make this series, and there’s so much meaty relationship building, good, bad, and indifferent, in this story. It’s all build up to what’s coming next, in the final book of this particular series. I pledge to read it sooner rather than later.
