We were away for five days, and during that time, the Thai basil went to seed. I had no idea it had such pretty flowers. I’ll continue to buy this for the ornamental properties! Look how pretty it is next to the marigolds:
The veggies are doing well. The Swiss chard is looking amazingly lush, considering how warm it is:
I’m really happy with the shiso and the sorrel. They’re both so pretty to look at – being able to eat them is a bonus.
I’m just about ready to harvest the peppers. I got a bunch from the CSA last week, so I’m trying to hold off picking these until I decide what to do with the ones I have.
