We’ve been meaning to get to a concert at the Stone Mountain Arts Center for ages now. One of my coworkers lives in the area and raves about it. We finally bit the bullet and got tickets to the Altan concert last night. They’ve been on my radar since I got a Celtic music compilation with “Dúlamán” on it, probably back in the 90s.
It was a great show – I love a good rollicking Celtic band, and they had a great variety of those songs, along with quieter songs. They were so happy to be there, and the audience was having a blast. There are truly no bad seats in that house. Dinner was great, but it’s nice that we could just do desserts, drinks, and any combination from there. We’ll definitely be back.
