Trifecta of Tomato Hats

Pattern: Berry Baby hat by Michele Sabatier
Yarn: Knit Picks Wool of the Andes in the Firecracker Heather colorway, and Mission Falls 1824 Wool in green
Needles: Size 7 Circs and Size 8 Circs and DPNs

After cleaning out my stash last week, I pulled out a few skeins of yarn I knew I could probably work through pretty quickly. The reason I had bought the Mission Falls yarn in the first place was to make a blueberry themed hat out of Berry Baby Hat pattern. Sadly, I don’t have enough of the blue yarn I had used left to make another hat, but I had a decent amount of this red yarn, so decided to go with a tomato theme. I did manage to use up the rest of the red Knit Picks yarn, but still have a bit left of the green. I may be able to do something with that depending on what I have left from the niece/nephew project I’m about to start, so we’ll see how that goes.

This is a great, easy pattern – you could probably knock one out in a single evening if you had no distractions. It’s pretty darn cute too.
