Jasper Beach – Machiasport, ME

We headed Downeast this weekend, which ended up being a hilarious counterpoint to the heat and humidity of last weekend. The coast was socked in by fog both days we were out and about. (This is not a complaint – this is much more my speed for a day out wandering around.)

The only other time we’ve been to Jasper Beach was the same. Apparently, I’m not meant to get any sightlines off the shore when I’m here.

For a bit of a bonus, here are some more beach pea pictures that didn’t make the Weekly Wildflowers cut – they were in gorgeous full bloom and a whole bunch of them had very cool water droplets from the fog.
