My post is a bit late (late summer company-associated craziness), but CSA pick up was in fact on time. This week’s haul was: baby bok choy, broccoli, tomatoes, patty pan squash, red peppers, cucumbers, and cabbage.
Nothing particularly revolutionary preparation-wise this week. I did do a lovely Roasted-Summer Vegetables over pasta from Serving Up the Harvest. It was a great way to clear out some of the leftover bounty from last week, and make sure this week’s doesn’t build up. Due to the company-craziness, we’ve been eating out a bit more this past week, and that won’t be ending for a little while more. I’m very much appreciating that these veggies are so fresh, they can sit in the fridge a bit longer than I’d ever trust supermarket veggies to do.
