My garden’s been humming along quite nicely, especially considering the heat. I guess this was the perfect year to try and only get drought tolerate flowers for the pots in the side garden. The portulaca especially are doing wonderfully out there.
Oddly enough, my mini-herb garden is only doing so-so. The softer herbs bit the dust early and hard, except for the parsley, though that, and the mint, oddly enough, are barely growing this year. At least I’ll have nice sized sage and thyme plants to bring inside for the winter.
