Barrow socks number one is done!
I’m definitely enjoying the pattern. It looks way more complicated than it really is, which is not to say it’s super easy, but it’s easy enough I can watch tv while working on it.
The Beckon sock yarn is interesting. It varies between a fairly thin and plumper strand width, which doesn’t show through in the final fabric that much, but gives some interesting variety while knitting along.
I’ve been plotting shawl patterns to start once sock #2 is done, which is giving me some good motivation to keep plugging away on the sock. Hopefully I can get this one done with a certain degree of speed.
