In contrast to my last vampire included read, book eleven in the Sookie Stackhouse series is getting a little long in the tooth. I literally could care less about her relationship with Eric, Sam’s dating life leaves much to be desired, there better be a massive payoff to whatever she’s leading up to involving Sookie’s skeevy fairy cousin Claude, and the story du jour (dealing with the vampire Regent Vincent) was a yawn-fest.
Sadly, I have two more of these books around, and I’m a completest. Because the beginning of the series was so good, I’ll probably stick around until the end. Won’t be in much of a hurry to do it, though.
