Monkey socks are on the needles, and looking good. I’m really enjoying this pattern. It’s been pretty easy to remember, so I’ve been able to knit along while watching tv. (And it’s been cold enough that curling up on the couch under a blanket has been my modus operandi for the last week or so. I’ve never been as excited to see the formation of slush as I was this morning.)
In other news, I finally broke down and made an Etsy purchase (the direct result of perusing the sticky yarn recommendation post on Ravelry’s Limenviolet forum during lunch on a particularly long work day…) I got this lovely skein of sock yarn from Kindred Spirits Yarn. She managed to catch pretty much all of my favorite colors (down to the right shades) in one skein of yarn. I loves it so much.! I am currently working through a fear of casting something one and somehow ruining it. It’s too pretty not to make something with!
