Superior Saturday – Garth Nix

This is the penultimate book in this series, and Arthur Penhaligon, Rightful Heir to the Architect, has now gained enough power to move to the Upper House and find the sixth part of the Architect’s Will in Saturday’s domain.      Saturday is the best sorceress among the Denizens, but Arthur himself has been changing, and is no longer quite human.

There’s also the small problem of Nothing dissolving the lower levels of the House, and someone has managed to order a nuclear attack back on Earth, at the hospital where Arthur’s mother works, and several of his friends are trapped.    Needless to say, there’s a lot going on.

This book is definitely all about movement of the story – so much so that I picked up Lord Sunday right away, because I was left with a very incomplete feeling at the end (the previous books have at least reached a logical endpoint of a piece of the story).
