This is the first time we’ve ever looked for spring flowers at Ferry Beach, and I was very impressed how far the starflower and Canada mayflower got into the sand dunes. The two pictures of those flowers with the pine needle flower are in the pitch pine back section of the dunes, along with the beach heather.
