Naturally, we had to catch the Dambo Trolls while we were at the botanical garden. I had seen the three closest to the visitor’s center on a previous visit that the BF wasn’t able to make. So we caught the two I hadn’t seen, and he got to see all five. The Seeds did elude us, but we bought a membership for the year, so we’ll be back.
The above is Roskva, the closest to the entrance, and therefore the most mobbed. I was impressed by how many pictures I was able to get with no one in them, or very easily editable to get no one in them.

Next for us was Birk – we decided to head into the woods and circle back to Lilja last. Birk’s not far from the main part of the garden, and quite close to the fairy garden. I love his hair, and beard. And he’s the first one where I really noticed the eyebrows.

Next was Soren, the first of the two that are new to me. He’s just so cheerful! And his hair totally reminds me of a hedgehog. He also has a very textured face – I don’t remember that much texture on any of the previous trolls we’ve seen.

Gro is the second of the two I hadn’t seen before. She recently had to be treated for a bee infestation, so isn’t her photogenic best, but that was ok. She’s an interesting pairing to Gro (she’s in the Rhody garden, and he’s on the main road near the entrance to the Rhody garden). She’s very serene.

And last but not least is Lilja, who’s right next to the children’s garden, so was also mobbed. Dambo definitely has a type for the baby trolls – Little Tille of the Six Forgotten Giants is definitely her kin. Again though, Lilja has an interesting texture to her face that I don’t remember seeing on as many of the other trolls we’ve seen.
It’s fun to have something different to look for as we travel. We’ve now covered the trolls closest to home, so we’ll have to see what we can find next.
