Well, today, I finished the skirt I’ve been working on. I gave up on the blind hem. I think the fabric was a little too unwieldy (ie: hard to press and get it to actually stick), and I’d tried the hem so many times, I had a bunch of stitches I couldn’t entirely pull out
They’re fore-casting 80 degree plus weather for multiple days by the end of the week. I think that means I’ll be able to plant my veggies next weekend.
So, having given up on the shirt I was working on, I needed a bit of a sewing win. I’d bought some simple gray suiting fabric to make a skirt from a book that gives instructions for patternless skirts, but realized after buying it I’m pretty much a pattern girl. Fortunately, I’ve been sitting on
