Knitting Notes
Another skein of yarn kicked through hexipuffs (Malabrigo Sock in Playa). I’m frankly amazed I got three other separate projects out of this skein, and still managed this many puffs.

I only finally got the plants out to harden off on Wednesday, between our trip, and the ridiculous amount of cold and rain we’ve been getting. Weekly Wildflowers – Quebec Corner, Montreal Botanic Garden, Montreal, QC
The Quebec Corner garden is planted up to represent the woodland habitat around Montreal, as well as the wetland habitat of the nearby islands. It’s very different than the ornamental shade garden on the other side of the larger grounds – not as showy – but lovely in its own way.

These flowers are all from our drive through Vermont to Montreal, but my best sighting was one I couldn’t get a picture of. Somewhere between Montpelier and Burlington, there’s a section of I89 where the southbound lanes are upslope from the northbound lanes, and the median is wide enough to support a mature stand of
