The dahlia over-wintering experiment continues. I’d like to be able to plant them right into the large pots I use, since I managed to kill one transplanting them up last year. But, I really do need to start them sooner rather than later to get them to a good size. So we’ll see if this

I’m so glad I finally tried this trail out last Fall. I could tell there would be some woodland flowers come spring, so I gave it a try after work on Friday. It’s a bit early, but I did find some blooms, and have a few more to look forward to.
