What a different a heat wave makes – my peas are finally blooming (and half of those are already pods now – it’s been freaking hot). I will totally plant these again. The flowers are so pretty, and they’ve topped out at about waist height. Here’s hoping they taste good too! The chamomile
Had my first two harvests over last weekend – more salad turnips than you can shake a stick at, and the first load of kale. I have about a half dozen turnips left in the ground that were a bit smaller. They should be ready in a week or so. Turns out

This morning, I did a ton of work on the side garden. The daffodils have already gone by (courtesy of one day in the 80s last week), so I trimmed those back, along with some other detritus from the Fall. I also took out most of the large containers and topped them off with compost,
